SENIOR STAFF
Nick Elisano - Founder
For the past twelve years Nick Elisano has achieved excellence in the field of fitness training and athletic preparation. Nick has helped countless individuals and athletes reach their goals through sound scientific training as Director of Operations for Miracles Fitness, a health club chain with locations in New Jersey, Louisiana and Indiana.A former three sport all-star in high-school, Cape May County Athlete of the Year and a college basketball player, Nick has utilized his passion for working with kids and athletes as well as his personal experience as an athlete and combined it with the advanced theories of Sports Science and the principles of modern strength and conditioning systems. Nick works with a wide variety of clientele, including high school and college level athletes in a multitude of sports including soccer, football, basketball, baseball, volleyball, field hockey, lacrosse and gymnastics.
Nick is a Youth Conditioning Specialist and a Certified Personal Trainer. Nick is a member of The American College of Sports Medicine, The International Youth Conditioning Association and the International Fitness Professionals Association.
Melissa Swain-O'Neill, MS, CES
Melissa graduated Cum Laude with her Bachelors degree in Exercise Physiology followed by her Masters in Cardiac Rehabilitation and Exercise Science both from East Stroudsburg University in Pennsylvania. Certified from the American Council on Exercise (ACE) as a Certified Exercise Specialist, Melissa has helped hundreds of individuals, including youth, high school and college athletes enhance their athletic ability.In addition to her clinical background she has also published 25 research studies relating to exercise and nutrition as well as 15 published magazine articles in American Health and Fitness. As an ex-collegiate athlete and assistant coach, Melissa takes pride in keeping in shape, and above all, practicing what she preaches to this day by continuing to participate in various foot and bike races as well as triathlons.
Sarah Agena, MS, RD
Sarah holds a master's degree in Exercise Science from Northern Michigan University where she earned the Graduate Student of the Year award. In connection with Sarah's BS in Human Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, she has completed a year long internship at Hines Veterans Hospital in Chicago to complete her certification to become a Registered Dietician.Sarah has been involved competitively in swimming her entire life, earning her a Wisconsin State title in the 50-yard freestyle during her senior year of high school. She has also competed in the Junior National competitions giving her a wealth of experience in competitive athletics. After her swim career she took up cycling and raced competitively for two years. During her second year of racing she earned the Wisconsin State title in Category 4 Criterium Racing.
"Being an athlete all my life has really sparked my interest in proper nutrition for athletes. To achieve optimum sports performance it is important for young athletes to know how to properly fuel their bodies."
Sarah is a member of the American Dietetics Association (ADA), Sports, Cardiovascular and Wellness Nutritionists (SCAN), and the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).
